We may not realize it, but struggling in careers or finances may be the result of underlying mental health challenges. Rather than thinking we are incapable, unworthy or not good enough for success, getting support for our mental health can make all the difference in getting us where we want to go.

About the event

When things arent going well in our careers we are quick to think of ourselves as inherently not good enough or worthy of success. It can be hard to recognize that anxiety, depression, OCD tendencies or ADHD styles might be interfering with our efforts. Even if we recognize those mental health experiences in other areas of our lives, we tend to compartmentalize. We might think, "I'm anxious and that's why I dont want to hang out with friends", but that same person might think, "I'm bad at giving talks at work because Im not smart enough". There is a common belief that taking medications or getting support for mental health means Im somehow broken and even more unworthy of success.
